I adore Gabrielle Bernstein.
She is one of the new voices for this era of spirituality. A self-described, Spirit Junkie, which is the title of one of her books, she defines it simply as “one who chooses to perceive the world with loving lenses.” Isn’t that awesome? I feel that is something really to strive for. It’s a wicked world sometimes, and if I can view it lovingly as much as possible, I’ll view it through rose colored glasses! (Though, I have to admit, that is my failing as a human!)

I wanted to share these snippets and people with you today along with a Kundalini Meditation to Bust Through Your Blocks from Gabrielle’s vlog yesterday, called “Ego Eradicator.” She shares, “This meditation busts through the ego’s littleness and opens you up to your inner awesomeness and faithful intuition.”
If you aren’t familiar with the yoga practice or style of Kundalini, simply put, it’s a powerful way to move your body’s energy and connect within. It was the first yoga I was exposed to after having my 2nd child and struggling with many emotional and physical difficulties. I had forgotten what a powerful role this practice has had in my life until now as I write this. I must get back into it – it’s a killer strength workout, especially post-partum when you need those core poses the most. The breath exercises are the best way to start. I’m excited to share this and hope you enjoy. I, myself, have been meditating 23 days straight and will have more on this practice soon, for now enjoy and namaste!
